Daniel H. Lowndes, Vice President, Operations, Business Division

As Vice President of Glentel’s Business Division, Dan Lowndes has been with the TCGI group of companies for more than 20 years. In 1985, Dan, while working for Speedy Communications (then a division of the company that would later become Glentel's major shareholder), sold the first cell phone in Western Canada. He went on to become Glentel’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing before taking over as Vice President and General Manager of what was then Glentel’s long distance division. In 1997, Dan helped launch WirelessWave and in 2002, he became Vice President of Glentel’s Business Division.
