Glentel Brings Emergency Wireless Communications Solutions to APCO & NENA
Burnaby, British Columbia – November 14, 2008 –Glentel Inc. (TSX: GLN), a leading provider of innovative and reliable wireless communications solutions in North America, will showcase its advanced and integrated wireless communications solutions at APCO&NENA in Ottawa, ON.
Glentel’s Business Division is focused on providing integrated wireless solutions to public safety, government and business customers. The division’s growth can be attributed to the strength of the oil and gas industry in northern British Columbia and Alberta, the maturing of certain industry segment opportunities, and the increased points of presence through acquisitions.
Amongst its various terrestrial and satellite offerings, Glentel will feature its latest communication system designated specifically to the Emergency/First Response industry – EMERGNET, at the APCO & NENA “Partners in Communication” tradeshow. The unique solution provides satellite communications that is impermeable to natural disasters and line saturation. Glentel solutions will be displayed from Sunday, November 16 at 6 p.m. ET – Tuesday, November 18 at 3 p.m. ET at booth number 104.
