Glentel Declares Special Dividend - $0.22 Per Share

Burnaby, British Columbia – December 1, 2008 – Glentel Inc. announced today that the Board of Directors has declared a special dividend of $0.22 per share, having a record date of December 8, 2008, payable on December 22, 2008.

“With a significant increase in Glentel’s financial strength from past profitable quarters and a positive outlook for 2009 for the Company, I am pleased the board has made the decision to share this success with the Company’s shareholders by way of a special dividend, “ stated Thomas Skidmore, Glentel’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We recently reported a strong 3^rd quarter, and management anticipates a profitable 4^th quarter which is historically Glentel’s strongest quarter.”
